Restaurant Manager, Tony McNally
Tony will say that his favorite thing about his job is the satisfaction he gets from the positive customer response that comes from a mixture of great service, fantastic food, Tony Gulizia on the piano and the drop-dead gorgeous views from the dining room.
Service is a real priority with Tony, and he and his staff work hard to make sure the guests know that. Having an amazing penchant for remembering Grouse Mountain Grill’s customer’s faces, names and even drink preference, Tony delivers a level of hospitality that is rare in a seasonal environment.
Originally from Philly (not Philadelphia!), Tony majored in English at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. He puts his college major to good use in his free time- reading voraciously (a favorite genre is police/crime/mystery) and writing (on golf score cards for the most part!). He is still searching for the perfect Philly Cheesesteak in the Vail Valley and finds some to be really quite satisfying.
“Local qualified”, Tony has lived in Vail since 1978 and has been working with Grouse Mountain Grill since its inception in 1993. Prior to that Tony worked at Cyrano’s in Vail Village (with the same owners as Grouse Mountain Grill!) and Ambrosia. Being the “face” of Grouse Mountain Grill, Tony is a true charmer and if you are a guest from Philly, he may even be able to pull a table out of his hat in high season! |
